Opening Of The Children's Playground
September 30, Ukraine celebrates the annual “Adoption Day” — a national holiday for adoptive parents, guardians, foster parents, caregivers, who took their children into their families, and under various circumstances lost their families. “Adoption Day” appeared on the calendar of Ukrainian official professional holidays relatively recently, in 2008, after November 27, 2008, in Kiev, the third president of Ukraine, Viktor Yushchenko, “given the social significance of adoption in ensuring the right of every child to be raised by a family, in order to support and develop national adoption, “signed Decree No. 1088/2008 “On the day of adoption,” which prescribed that this day be celebrated every year on September 30th.
In order to implement the social initiatives of the President of Ukraine Viktor Fedorovich Yanukovych in the spring of 2012, the first family-type orphanage was opened on the territory of the Alfa-Nik Social Complex . The spouses of Tkachishin became parents-educators. Currently, 10 children are raised in the family of the director of the Alfa-Nik Foundation, of which 7 are adopted.
On Monday, on Adoption Day, in Nikolaev, on the territory of the Alfa-NikSocial Complex, the celebration of the opening of a children's playground with the symbolic name "Hope" was held. The employees and volunteers of the Alfa-Nik Foundation carried out many preparatory work in order to link the two celebrations together.
